Dole Recalls Packaged Salads Lettuce Nationwide Due To Listeria
This latest recall impacts Dole-branded and private label packaged salads processed at the company’s Springfield, Ohio and Soledad, Calif. production facilities. The items, which were sold nationwide at retailers such as Kroger and HEB, include a variety of different lettuces, chopped salad kits, salad bowls, and more. Per an announcement from the FDA, iceberg lettuce contained in these products is responsible for the possible contamination.
