Dry Clean Vs Dry Clean Only A Guide

How to Tell if a Garment Is Dry-Clean Only Decode the label. Most manufacturers are required to list just one way to clean a garment. If the tag says “dry-clean only,” obey it, but if it says “dry-clean,” that means it’s the recommended method, but not the only method. When dealing with garments where dry-cleaning is ideal but optional, you can use some gentle at-home methods to launder your items. Consider the fabric....

Essentials For A Socially Distant Birthday Bash

While safety should remain a priority, there are still ways to be festive and follow the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) guidelines. Whether you are planning a birthday party, an adult rendezvous, or a little something for yourself, you should keep the party small—10 or fewer people would be safest. Definitely host the event outdoors, weather-permitting, because the fresh air should help mitigate the spread of germs (as will wearing masks)....

Feng Shui Best Front Door Paint Colors

One of the most important areas to look at in the home is the front door. In feng shui, we call the front door the “mouth of qi.” Qi is universal life force energy, and so the front door is the main portal in which we can receive positive energy and opportunities. The front entrance also symbolizes your face to the world, how others see you, or their first impression of you....

Formal Interiors Relax And Unwind In This California Home

While his clients, whose primary residence is two hours inland, were lured to the Southern California town because of its proximity to the water, their penchant for formality pushed aside the conventional casual aesthetic of beach environments. They wanted a classic abode that boasts a scheme as polished as a piece of sea glass. “This isn’t a beach house with an expansive backyard of sand and panoramic views of the ocean,” says Butera, who is well-versed in the Newport Beach lifestyle....

Grow The Most Gorgeous Peonies With These Must-Know Tips

Types of Peonies Peonies come in three main types: herbaceous, tree, and itoh. Herbaceous peonies (Paeonia lactiflora) are the most common in gardens, with hundreds of varieties to choose from. These varieties usually have scented flowers that come in shades of pink, red, and white. As the name suggests, herbaceous peonies don’t form woody stems. Instead, the stems stay green and flexible, so they may need staking to keep them from flopping over, especially when the flowers get wet in the rain....

You can even add it to salads, tuna, and a long list of other savory options—and there are plenty of reasons to do so....
