Consumers who are in possession of unopened Airborne Gummy bottles on the recall list should not attempt to open the product and should contact Reckitt to return the unopened bottles in order to receive a full refund. A postage-paid label will be provided. However, recalled bottles that have already been opened are not dangerous and are fine to use. Once a bottle is open, the pressure would have been released and there’s no risk of injury. Thus far, Reckitt has received 70 reports of the cap or seal popping off the bottles. Within these 70 reports there are 18 instances of minor injuries, and one report of an eye injury that required medical attention.
