New Year’s Eve Food for Kids
No one said you have to serve New Year’s Eve themed foods – so I recommend going with whatever will make the kids the happiest! These are just some of my personal favorite recipes that kids always love as well! These rainbow donuts would work great for any sort of colorful New Year’s Eve party! And I mean who doesn’t love donuts? You could even use some of these other donut party ideas and make the entire night donut, aka ring, themed! It’s New Year’s Eve so you have to serve some sort of fancy, kid-friendly drink! While you could make this easy Christmas punch, I always prefer a good mocktail. This strawberry citrus mocktail is a family favorite and always popular with the kids! Depending on what time of day and how long you’re having your party, you’re likely going to want some heavy finger foods – finger meaning they’re small enough for little fingers to hold! Okay and they’re ones that you can pick up, no forks needed. These pulled pork sandwiches are SO easy to make and absolutely delicious. Kids will love the sweet pork combined with the soft rolls. Dips are always a big hit too! Whether you serve buffalo chicken dip, spinach artichoke dip, or fruit dip – kids love dips! Even better if they’re baked into a fun crunchy finger food like these spinach artichoke cups! If you want to serve lunch and let the kids get involved, these english muffin pizzas are both fun to make and fun to eat! Let kids customize their own and you could even cut out cheese in the shape of numbers to make them New Year’s Eve themed! Taco time! With New Year’s Eve being on a Tuesday this year, you could totally do a Taco Tuesday themed New Year’s Eve buffet! Make this homemade taco meat (so much better than a packet) and serve it in these fun taco bites for one delicious fiesta!
